2 suggestions:1. Presuming your taskbar is usually still on the still left, vertically.Right click at the táskbar UN-check Locking mechanism the taskbar relaxation you cursor at the tip of the rightside edge of the táskbar until the cursór provides transformed into a 2-tip left click and HOLD move the 2-pointer to YOUR remaining until the taskbar size becomes small.It might get a several attempts before it works.2. If the over is certainly a no-go, perform a system restore. Pick a date before you 'méssed' around with táskbar as your réstore point.

Place the pointer on the top boundary of the taskbar until it changes to a double ended arrow, hold down the left corner of the touchpad and drag the taskbar to the required size. Note: If the pointer does not change to a double ended arrow at the top edge of the taskbar, first right click an empty area. So my task bar is either too small or too big, it's really frustrating, tried many things, resizing & removing the toolbars in particular. But it still won't seem to go back into place.
